It seems that all things sparkly are having a moment now. This trend has manifested in the world of weddings in the form of brooch bouquets.

Dazzlingly different, these beautiful bouquets are a fresh take on the tradition of a bride wearing "something old". Various brooches, whether unified by color (such as pink or blue), shape (such as flowers), or material (rhinestone being the most popular and eye-catching), often combined with silk flowers, are used to create these lovely bouquets.

Carrying a brooch bouquet is a wonderful way for a bride to have something unique and personal at her wedding. She may be able to use her own family's brooches, and those of her husband-to-be, which goes with the "something borrowed" tradition, and symbolically connects generations of family.

The best part is that these bouquets will last forever, which, of course, is simply not true for bouquets made of fresh flowers.

I've never seen this before but it looks absolutely gorgeous. As someone who adores vintage broochures this really appeals :) You could give all the female guests a brooch from the bouquet as a thank you present too!
