The Royal Mansour Hotel, Marrakech

On this sultry summer evening, I'm daydreaming of escaping to the Royal Mansour Hotel in Marrakech, Morocco. I'd love to drift through the beautifully tiled passageways, dip my fingers in the cool fountains, lie under the shade of the palms, listen to jazz in the lounge, relax in an elegant riad, and lazily glide through the pool's aqua waters of this gorgeous hotel. The hotel's cozy terraces, with their stunning views of the Koutoubia Moaque and Atlas Mountains, must be so relaxing. I could spend days gazing upon the exquisite archways, tiles, and various other detailed ornamentation, created over the course of four years by over 1500 Moroccan artisans. What a heavenly escape...

Moroccan Magic

This stunning 18th-century riad in Morocco has had a beautiful renovation, thanks to the vision of its owners, art dealer Dorothea Elkan and designer Salem Grassi, and the talents of skilled local artisans. The home is just gorgeous! I love the warmth of the wood, the elegant, well-chosen decor, beautiful tilework, and all of the incredible details throughout the property. I could quite happily spend a holiday there! How about you?
