Artist Spotlight: 1000 raspberries by Maggie

When I first saw Maggie's artwork, I was drawn in by the romantic dream-like quality of her images. The more I see of her pictures, the more entranced I am by their beauty and sweetness. Maggie is a girl after my own heart.

I asked Maggie to describe what inspires her to create her artwork. Here is what she told me:

"I'm mostly inspired by the simplest of things. sometimes a quote from a book I'm reading, a movie still, some lyrics or an old photo seems so precious to me that I add a touch of my own art to it and then it feels like that piece of art is a part of me forever. I think creating and being able to recall beautiful moments from pieces of art is the loveliest feeling there is, it's like remembering a long lost childhood memory from the simple scent of a perfume, and memories are all we have at the end of the day."

How lovely! I couldn't agree more.
