Black, White, and Gorgeous

You cannot go wrong with the striking contrast of black and white. Throw in some gold accents, and you've got total gorgeousness. It's just an endlessly inspiring combination.

I have loved pink and black together for what seems like forever. Maybe it was growing up in the 80s that made me fall in love with this dramatic, feminine colour pairing. Or maybe it is simply because it's gorgeous. I love it. That's all I know.

Back in Black

Maybe it is the darker, cloudier days that we've been having... Right now, I've been in the mood for black. I keep seeing so many gorgeous rooms featuring the colour black. From the main colour to strong accents, black is back.

Fab Frock Friday | Classic Black & White

The classic pairing of black and white is so elegantly illustrated by this beautiful ensemble of a full black skirt and crisp white button-down shirt. Could anything be more simple and beautiful? I think not.

Today, I went clothes shopping with a friend for the first time since having the baby. I found myself gravitating, as I often do, towards denim and basic pieces in classic colours like grey, black, and navy. As much as I adore colour, I find I usually wear the same few conservative shades, especially in winter. In spring, I'm sure I will begin to crave brighter colours and patterns in my wardrobe. For now, favourite classic looks are what I'm into.
