It is a beautiful sunny autumn Sunday here in Adelaide, and I'm enjoying the afternoon... making sauce in the slow cooker, mopping the floors, and awaiting my darling to arrive home from work. Aaah, I feel so relaxed! I hope all of you are enjoying your Sunday, as well.
The other day, I baked a batch of these blueberry-sour cream muffins, and they turned out to be delicious, so I thought I should share the recipe with you, along with a couple of pretty pictures.

Latest update on our quest to find a house:
Yesterday, Glen and I were driving by a house we had seen online, and there just happened to be an open inspection going on. (The window of time was only half an hour! Serendipity? Yes, I think so.) We took a look around, chatted a bit with the realtor, and discussed the various (and numerous!) renovations we might like to do. The home looked well cared-for, but the decor is about 30 years out-of-date, so we would definitely want to upgrade some things, especially the kitchen and bathrooms. It is quite a roomy house, on a decent-sized lot, and in a quiet neighbourhood. We are not in love with the house, but we can see a lot of potential in this fix-er-upper.
As much as we would like to be able to build our Dream House, the cost would simply be too great, at the moment. Buying an existing house, and renovating it, seems to be the better option for us. We're not really in a hurry to move, we just want to research our options. Honestly, I would like to just wait and hope that prices will go down. I'm sure we will work it out, one way or another, and make a good choice.
