Fab Frock Friday | Perfect for Spring

This lovely leafy dress by Oscar de la Renta for Spring-Summer 2015 perfectly captures that joyful feeling I have upon seeing the first bright green leaves on the trees in spring. The little daisies make this dress even more adorable. I love it!

Have a delightful weekend, everyone.

Fab Frock Friday | Elie Saab FW 2014

As always, Elie Saab's couture collection for Fall-Winter 2014 is making me swoon! Beautiful gown after beautiful gown... shimmering beading... gorgeous colours... ombre effects... glamorous silhouettes. This collection is heavenly!

Fab Frock Friday | Classic Black & White

The classic pairing of black and white is so elegantly illustrated by this beautiful ensemble of a full black skirt and crisp white button-down shirt. Could anything be more simple and beautiful? I think not.

Today, I went clothes shopping with a friend for the first time since having the baby. I found myself gravitating, as I often do, towards denim and basic pieces in classic colours like grey, black, and navy. As much as I adore colour, I find I usually wear the same few conservative shades, especially in winter. In spring, I'm sure I will begin to crave brighter colours and patterns in my wardrobe. For now, favourite classic looks are what I'm into.

What are you into wearing now?

Fab Frock Friday | Tex Saverio

This evening I have had the pleasure of discovering the enchanting work of Indonesian fashion designer Tex Saverio. Having stumbled upon a couple of images of a bridal gown he designed, my search led me to find out that he designed a wedding gown for The Hunger Games film (which I have yet to watch). His haute couture and bridal collections are incredibly theatrical and glamorous--I would even say "mythical", as you can see.
