P.S. I hope you all like the blog's new wallpaper as much as I do. I found the pattern here (a great site for blog backgrounds!), and then I made the pattern a paler shade of grey. I'm planning to spruce the blog design up even more soon. Stay tuned!
Bright white surfaces and pops of brilliant colour, along with a few eye-catching pieces of artwork, bring life to this Soho loft in New York City. This fabulous space is the home of tech entrepreneur Kathy Leake, who founded Media6Degrees.
My favourite elements of the home are the flocked Yves Klein blue chandelier in the lounge and the big pastel bunny sculptures on the dining table. The minimal kitchen is gorgeous. (I'll be adding that image to my Dream House files!) I also love the lucite desk against the white-painted brick wall, and the huge world map in the office.
On the wall in the dining room is a copy of Francis Bacon's painting Study of A Nude With Figure In A Mirror, created by Fabulous Masterpieces. The work is so large, it had to be hoisted into the space through a window.
