Since it is a cool autumn Sunday, here in the Midwestern U.S., I'm in the mood for a hearty brunch. I've come up with a menu for our virtual feast, including some seasonal foods, like apple and pumpkin. It wouldn't be a good old-fashioned American-style brunch without the addition of real maple syrup on our french toast, would it? Feel free to spike your caramel apple cider with some bourbon or brandy. Cheers to a lovely Sunday!
The pumpkin meringue pie recipe would work for tarts, as shown. The image above is from here. I just liked the picture, and looked up a recipe which seemed to match.
